Introduction
• This Trust was formed in December 2007, at the AGM of the Aotearoa Maori Tennis Association as a result of a koha from Dr Tamati and Mrs. Tilly Reedy.

Objective
• To financially assist, outstanding Māori tennis players who aim to be professional tennis players.

Eligibility
• Open to all outstanding Māori tennis players with prominence given to top ranking Juniors who are developing or are in preparation to make tennis their future.

• Players must compete in the annual Māori Tennis Championships unless they have been selected to represent NZ or are in transit to take up an overseas scholarship at the time of the tournament.

• Selection will be carried out by the Nga Purapura Trust members, Dr Tamati and Tilly Reedy, Harry Tawhai and Dick Garratt.
